About
Tower Notes started as a shared chat between a few friends who kept arguing about which mobile strategy games were worth the storage space. At some point the notes got too long for a group message, so we turned them into a proper site.
We cover strategy and tower defence mostly, but we drift into anything with interesting decisions on a touchscreen: RPGs, racers, city builders. Every game we write about, someone on the team has actually played for a few hours at least. No copy-pasted press blurbs.
Games get picked simply: we play a lot, and when one keeps pulling us back the next morning, it earns a review. We also take suggestions from readers, and some of our favourite finds came that way.
Ratings are our own opinion, nothing more. We try to explain the reasoning so you can disagree with us and still get something useful out of the piece.
