Lanternwood Trail

Lanternwood Trail is a calm, hand-drawn adventure. You wander a forest, light lanterns, solve small environmental puzzles and slowly piece together what happened here. There's no combat and no timers.

The art is the star. Every screen looks like a storybook page, and the ambient sound design makes it a great before-bed game. Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, so you rarely need a walkthrough.

It's short, maybe four hours, and some players will want more mechanics. We took it as a deliberate, complete little experience and enjoyed it for exactly what it is.
