Skyreach Outpost

Skyreach Outpost puts you in charge of a colony hanging in the clouds. Everything is about balance: power feeds life support, life support keeps morale up, morale keeps production going. Let one slip and the whole chain wobbles.

It plays slowly and deliberately, which suits idle-ish sessions. You set things up, check back later, adjust. The tutorial is a little too hand-holdy at the start, but once it lets go the systems open up nicely.

We spent most of our time optimising layouts, which is the real draw here. If you enjoy spreadsheets disguised as games, you'll lose an afternoon to this.
